AGM deep cycle marine battery?

Well I've got a cpap that now supposedly will work off battery power, so ordered a "nice" 400 watt inverter and now looking for a large AGM or something in a large marine deep cycle battery.

When I say large....something that will fit in my drivers side stainless battery tray. Its either put the battery there (I know I should have the batteries matched but I don't want my primary truck battery to be a deep cycle marine unit)....or figure out a way to mount a third battery.

Need to test at home a few cycles to make sure battery and inverter have no problems and then on to next camping trip. Goal...to do away with carry generator to camp site (unless otherwise needed) I've seen some guys on the main forum talk about sears platnum etc.

Anyway....looking for good recommendation for a good marine deep cycle battery to use on the 60. I'll have to setup an isolator later on.

yes it will not be a direct dc connection... battery feeds the inverter....inverter feeds cpap.

thanks....any idea on series?

I may just have to break out the tape measure and check the mount to make sure what size it will hold and then march down to sears and hunt through the sizes.

I've never seen a list that notes the battery size dimensions...anyone know?..ex series 34 battery = 26*32*8..

I bought an OReilly house brand one last time. My theory was, if I'm wheeling somewhere and it craps out, there's bound to be an Oreilly close by. There may not be a sears close by. It did great even when the truck sat for LONG periods of time.

I purchased an Autozone AGM for the same reason , plus AutoZone's warranty system is connected nation wide . They can see where and when you bought the part from any store . Love it .

good ideas on a vendor with a more distributed network. I have dual gold tops from auto zone for that same reason..."there might be an autozone within some reasonable distance of where the battery fails".

I'll have to look through what is available to see if there is something equivalent to the sears platinum product.

The one I bought was just the oreilly house brand AGM battery. I don't know if they had different grades or whatever. It wasn't cheap either!!! Although it was a good bit cheaper than the optima.
