Again a Mud Tire question ...

None of the tires you listed are mud tires imho. Maybe you have a bent rim peepers. I mean theres mud out there that even swampers can't tame, so why even try with anything else? My next set of shoes will definately be the trxus mt, probably 31s for the dd. The LTB's I had for a little while kicked ass, but were so freaking heavy. I actually liked the way they handled on road compared to flimsy flexy little rolly radials.

mine are badly out of balance and i can't get em to balance no matter ow many times i take it in.

That is a frequent Interco issue, though I hear about it a LOT less with the TrXus tires then their LTB's, TSL's, etc.

You should ask on NEOW or the YT list for a shop recomendation. I know I've heard that there are a few places that are REALLY good at balancing big, offroad tires. Your average tire place guys just don't have enough experience with them.

I have heard that the TRXUS interco tires wear quickly, is this correct?

I understand two facts on TRXUS tires :

- great in mud

- wear fast

I don't want to buy news tires every 20 000 Km...

Lots of poeple here in canada don't recommend Bridgstone or Firestone tires... because there not very popular here and the disponibility is so so... I figure that can be a problem if I have a problem with this tires...

Tires and more tires

Kumho Ventures!!! Not a bad choice...easily get 40,000 miles out of 'em. Those General Grabbers can't be beat either! Incredible sticker prices on both!!!

Trxus, SSRs, and LTBs all great choices. Really no comparison between MTRs and BFGs with them. I've seen all three go 35,000+ miles with the SSRs topping over 40,000! Personal experience beats lab test results and paper stats anyday.

If you want traction, then go get it...don't screw around. If you're unsure of your rig / yourself, just buy some road radials that you can get 50,000 miles out of...then worry bout tires later when you figure out your wheeling preferences.

Final tire though: Buckshot Maxxis Mudders! One of the best BANGs for you BUCK. Though oversimilar to BFG MTs, they're cheap as hell and will outlast on the pavement!!! Can't beat good traction with great price including longevity.

Good luck...buy a swamper

I had great experience with Kumho Venture MT's also-- fairly quiet for an MT and they lasted over 40K miles all over central america, from hot baja pavement to freezing idaho snow run, they worked. In fact, they are still on my old 40 and still holding air (not much tread left)

Disponibility means availability?

That's ironic since the Firestone M/T's are made in Canada... ironic but not surprising. I like the M/T's, though not many here in southern Ca. use them.

.

Quebec is pretty much an amazing place. Just about the best place on earth.

thats what i heard originally, but i have spoken to a couple 80 series guys that run them and they said the trxus m/ts don't seem to wear faster than any other mud tire they have had.

edit: they are not overly expensive either so i think they are worth shot anyway.
