if you don't go the widened moonie wheel route I would look at there series 22 and 20 wheels one of them looks just like a fj40 inner just with out the hubcap tabs. worth looking at

Yeah, I hear it Jason. Rather not spend the $ on Stockton given all the other stuff I have to do to the truck. I ordered some wheel spacers and will see if they enable me to use the oem wheels I just had blasted and coated.
Put the 33x10.5x15 KO's on yesterday and junked the 12.5's. Feels like I added PS.

Wheels are allied type 81 soft 8. 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. No wheel spacers. They do not rub on the tie rods. I do get a little rubbing on the frame when you are locked full turn. I took it into a huge open space and drove in circles each way.

I have looked into Stockton for mine and the Series 22 for somewhere around 790 delivered for 5 wheels. Thats a little pricey for me. I think I might blast and paint the splits on there now but there are very few places around here that will mount a split anymore.
Thanks..no power steering...just armstrong, and yes it is a major bitch to steer offroad.
