I recently took ownership of 1999 left hand drive cruiser. The car came with a wood trim kit in it. I bought the car off consignment and have never spoken to the owner.
The issue I have run into is the front passenger side trim is not correct for my model/year. I am trying to find solutions on how to either replace this one piece or modify it to work. I would prefer to not have to payout $140+ for a new kit. Is this 1 of 3 of the last piece I need to install.
I was thinking about cutting the slot larger to fit but, I think my OCD will get to me because it won’t have the middle bridge of trim.
I have tried to find similar kits online that have same finish that would fit for this area but they all seem to have the same design.
