cool vid.... centipede tires sweet...

Speaking of cruisers in movies... did anyone notice in Constantine (2005) the vehicle the crazy posessed guy steals is a nice clean 60 series?

I watched some of that Machine Gun Preacher movie over the weekend ( didn't finish, was fast forwarding, waaaay too churchy for me)

they blow up a 45 in it. :frown: ( this happens in Africa, so not totally off topic.)

Id love a set of centipedes! I hear they won't pass DOT regs though.

Given as how the teacher strike is on I thought Id take the kids to see that Imax film Vern posted. The kids could see a bunch of animals and I could watch the Cruiser submarine mobile. Unfortunately the kids have the plague and I have quarantined them to the dungeon.

Speaking of cruiser's in movies there was a nice 60 in the Nicklas Cage movie "NEXT" it ends up going over a cliff and tumbling down and barely missing Cage and wipes out the bad guys. I taped that scene and played it back in slo mo and as the 60 tumbles down the hood opens for a split sec and u can see there is no head on the block. They had a good one for the driving scenes and a stunt double for the cliff scene.

I remember seeing that. Can't say I noticed the lack of cylinder head tho...

Pretty nice 60 in that tv show Grimm as well.

And buggered if I can remember what the movie was, but there was this blonde haired android/alien freak and he was chasing a couple , ( because he had to kill them, what with being evil and all.)and the car chase, ( which was awesome btw) had android freak in a Unimog chasing the couple in a 45 trayback.

With the magic of film, they made it appear they were going above 20 kph.

I do enjoy a good B movie, maybe because one has to make the judgement call right after the credits that a lot more beer is going to be required...

Hell, movie I laughed the hardest at in my life was " league of extraordinary gentlemen" ( and no cam, it's not a gay porn).

Movie was funny because A; it was freakin retarded, and B; My sister gave me a couple of BC's Finest Herbally Organic Cookies to share before we went to the theatre, and she grossly underestimated how potent they were...:grinpimp:

The first movie ever with a landcruiser was black and white and filmed in 1965 and was called MOTOR PSYCHO lots of scenes with a 40 and 45. The funniest part is the motorcycle gang ride honda 50 or 90
Here is the whole movie that you can ff to the cruiser parts'

Motor Psycho

Amazing..... one can see the camel toe through the dense 60's forest. Nice. LMFAO!!

Ol' 45 needs some new steering components :steer:

Went to the IMAX last night to watch this movie and they had a modified cruiser to do the filming.Have a look at the trailer.

They may pass DOT, but the mfg does not want to pay for the DOT testing..
