Hello! We are new to the GA Cruisers crowd. We want to make a monthly meeting, but it is hard timing with our son. I have a 2013 SR5 4Runner we bought last March that we have since added to it Icon Stage 5 suspension, TRD Wheels, Nitto Trail Grapplers and BudBuilt armor. However, we have yet to truly get her off road! We would like to meet up and go on this outing - assuming we can without attending any meetings first!
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Bump for this weekend and hoping for ride details...

Last i heard we were planning to be at the park about 10 EST. I think the caravan location is at the Flying J in Resaca at 8:30 Sat morning for those coming up 75, which is probably everyone.

Nick - who's camping? Whats the plan for camping Sat night -- we grilling or eating locally or what?

My junk is now all fixed and ready for the trails. Weather looks to be turning a little with a low of 40* Sat night so the campfire will be welcomed.
 
I'm planning on camping Saturday night. Let me know about grilling, I can bring my grill, but I'm up for eating local too. Food is not as important as beer in my book.:beer::beer:


I can bring fire wood to.

Camp fire...any know if there is a designated area for camp fires? At a glance, I didnt see any info on their page.
 
Weather forecast isn't looking too favorable right now, hope it improves as we get closer. Do we have a Plan B if needed and what do the rest of you guys think?

Not a huge fan of this plan B but we haven't been to the The Gulches in a long time and only 30% chance of rain. Obviously that place turns to snot if it does rain though.

nevermind... Skip is having some Jeep event up there this weekend and that place aint big nuff for everyone. :bang: Maybe Adam can go. :flipoff2:

I'm gonna keep the faith that it aint gonna rain... Chocco in the light rain aint too bad though, maybe :hhmm::hhmm:
 
Was thinking of making the trip as I'm a newcomer as well....'91 FJ80....but I'm missing a bumper right now; sold mine right off the truck on a whim. Trying to get one asap from Bump It Offroad and then a winch. Luckily there are more upcoming rides!

Gonna be in Woodstock till late afternoon on Friday so thinkin' of maybe goin' up Fri evening and coming back sat night. That, and the frickin' weather man is smokin' crack again and changing stuff around. Now the forecast for Fri night is clear, Sat 20% rain during day, sat evening 40% rain and Sunday 70% rain. If'n we bugged out around 5:00 Sat. we could be home before 7-8:00.

Good that it might be coming in later but 2.75 Hr. haul to TN for a day ride is strrrreeecccctttthhhhiiiinnnn it!

That's y I can't make day trips.. It's a 6 hour ride for me maybe 4 or 5 to this place but 6 to most places.
