Ah, it's good to be back on the Diesel Tech forum. It took me waaaay too long to get my 75 BJ up and running after cleaning out the fuel system completely. But the fuel system is clean. The inline fuel filter I added for more visibility is showing wonderfully clear and the 40 is running smooth. I changed out the diaphragm just to be sure, even though it was in pretty good shape.
With that being said, I'm driving around at 6,500 feet at a minimum with excursions up above 10,000 feet on the weekends and it's puffing out a little bit of black smoke on the reg.
The engine never had an HAC and I have one ready to put on along with the bracket, but I don't know what else is needed.
The Toyota Engine Repair Manual isn't much help as it just shows the HAC, but nothing hooked up to it. Obviously, it has to connect to vacuum, but where?
Can someone help me understand what connects to the HAC and where?
Thanks
