The Alcans on my 62 do not seems to be able to adequately support the gear/bumpers/Fuel tank i have in the rear. I have emailed with a guy at Alcan who has been very helpful but he suggested I source an additional leaf for each spring locally. I have not done that before. Who would i use, a metal fab shop?

any pointers welcome!!

Also will OME heavies and a 1" body lift allow me to run 33's pretty comfortably?

OME heavies by themselves will allow you to run 33's fine. No need for a BL. Did you ask what the Alcans were rated for? My Alcan's are 400 #'s over and they work fine.

Not sure where to source another spring from, but I think its Man-a-Fre who has full length add a leaves.

Yeah i collected all the weight of the extra stuff in the rear and sent it to the guy at Alcan and he said it was def not built for that much weight. In the rear i have a slee tire carrier/bumper w/33" tire, 38 galllon lr gas tank, tuffy pull out drawer, and an engel fridge. All of which were on the truck when i got it but I am not sure when it was built if that stuff was in the original plans.
I will try man a fre today. Thanks for the suggestion.
the guy at ALcan said if i sent it to him he could make and install an addtional leaf in each one but I was hoping to avoid the shipping and my truck on blocks for a few weeks.

Alcan should be able to send you a couple of extra leafs. When I had Alcans on my 40 the main leaf was to short so they just shipped me a pair of new main leafs that I swaped out.

Never mind! Talked with the guys over there and once they realized it was the Raffle rig they had all the info they needed. Springs on order now!!
