Add to mattress thickness in RTT

We have a Smittybilt Over lander XL RTT. While the mattress pad is great, we want a little extra padding. We were thinking of just grabbing an egg carton type pad from Walmart but the mattress is about 8" wider than a king size mattress.

Anyone have any ideas on how to add extra padding to a mattress that is 92.5” x 74.8” ?

How about a thick cushy mattress pad?
I bought one off of Amazon, and it adds a lot of extra fluff.

I have that type of pillow topper on the mattress and added antifatigue matting to the floor. Huge difference.

We bought a queen size foam topper at Costco. It makes the tent super comfortable. W/O it I was in pain by the end of the night. they’re about $100.
