Does anybody know if the accessory brackets from an 81-84 22RE tall deck block interchangeable with an 85+ 22RE tall deck block?

I think I remember reading once that the AC compressor bracket doesn't interchange, but I might have my details mixed up. Geez, wish I could help ya more.

Which way are you swapping? The early alternator bracket is different, but the way that it bolts on to the block is the same. Most of our trucks are a stew of different model years, when we need a bracket we just go to the pile. The best way to make sure that you have the right compressor bracket is to pull it with the compressor & keep them together.
