AC evaporator cover removal?

I shop vac the evaporator, worked out well with front of enclosure pried open & got the foam cleaner that Iam going to do,, but I think I found my problem,,, don’t think their still there but,,, mice in the ac face ducts😱 at least I’ve only been trying to breath it in for a week,,, I guess,,,

Lol maybe you should have mentioned it had been sitting a while there were mice nests in the frame of the 60 i am working on little bastards will make a home anywhere
 
Most of those sections are easily removed, including the boxes on the hump. I took mine out and scrubbed with soap and water. I didn't have any nests, but the water was coming out black at first, just from almost 30 years of air.
 
well,, on doing a really good clean up of the vents & tubing (found big blockage,, as long as my wife doesn't find out,, i'am good) ,, and doing the evaporator foam clean, used Klima-cleaner, worked well,,,,
I am very happy to say that all works fine & AC cranks!

How do I get the foot heater ducts out of the way when dropping the evap core? Seems like that’s where I’m stuck. The screw tab behind the vent tube is catching, and I can’t get it around once the hoses pop through the fire wall
