ABS help

well, gonna keep the cruiser so I want to fix the titbits as much as I can.


Since putting my front springs in my ABS warning light has been on.

Today I finally crawled under to see if I could see what I broke and it turns out that this clip is broken

Can someone tell me what it is called so I can find it somewhere without sounding too stupid

This is on the drivers side wheel, looking from front of truck towards the rear.

o yeah, by broken i mean there is a black and a white wire that runs through the clip.

The black one is disconnected from the connector in the clip - you can't tell from looking at the pic.

In case there was a question as to whether the damage was purely cosmetic or not.

PM Cluthee here on Mud. He is the resident 80 expert. I would think that wire needs to be hooked up.

Basicaly that sensor has to be connected to make the magnet portion of the sensor read on that side, if it does not walla light.

You may wanta look in the 80's section, search, then goto Advanced search, then type, ABS+ sensor, should be lots of thread about broken wires.

If I remeber the wires contained in that harness are very small, may be fixable, check the threads out.

That is a wheel speed sensor connector. I have one for a 94 in my tool box at work bring your truck by and I'll see what I can do. You just moved to Flowood right?

He works at a car lot on hwy 471. Not far from Flowood. Go up Lakeland and turn right on 471 and go down a few miles and look for a car lot on the right. Look for a lifted white 80. Can't remember the name of the lot.

Its called CIA Autoplex. You can't miss it. I'm on 471 almost right where Grants Ferry meets. If you go down Lakeland turn right on Grants Ferry there is a Hunting and fishing store on the corner before you get to Wal-Mart. Follow Grants Ferry until it ends and turn right. I'm right there on you right hand side.
