not concerned about the mileage specifically but just general feedback or comments regarding older vehicle with unusually low mileage. As oppose to newer vehicle with higher mileage for the same price.

Did you take a look at the 2nd LX?

I believe what Grinchy means is that the 200s are very robustly built, designed to last 250k-300k+ miles easily. Mileage is less of an issue with these tanks compared to other vehicles.

After months of searching, I finally found it!!! It was a trade-in and called/check out the car as soon as it was posted online. 2013, 55K miles, grey Pearl/Beige, and came with all the options except glass break sensor. It will be a L/Certified vehicle so it has 2 year warranty and 2 year maintenance included! (awesome). Pricewise, $43K plus TTL, which I think is same/lower than most of the non-certified vehicle out there. Currently being detailed/serviced/certified at the dealer and I can't wait to pick her up :D

/\ Nice find! Seems like a pretty good price, and the additional warranty and maintenance is great. Good color choice :)

Congrats! That seems like a decent deal. I recently drove a 17k mile 2015 LX to see if it was worth upgrading my daily driver 2008 LX with 165k miles, and I can confidently say they both drove the same which is incredible. That shows you will have many years and miles of enjoyment without the truck feeling worn or old.

@mcgaskins since youve driven the lx570 and the lc in ur pic. How do you feel about the two? Road and offroad? One more capable than the other?

I haven't just driven them both, I own both and drive them back to back often. Lots of small differences, big ones mainly in suspension and transmission. Long story short - both are excellent. LX is more comfortable and AHC is great on and off road, but I personally wouldn't want to build one very heavy. Keeping it stock or close to stock, it's the better value. The 16 LC is an amazing truck that looks better IMO and the 8 speed is better off road than the 6 speed, but I prefer the 6 speed on road. Much easier to build for obvious reasons, and it's the go-to truck for long trips and most off road. Both capable, both luxurious, both amazing trucks, just different.

What has been the service history on your 2008’s AHC?

Congrats OP, sweet find!

Thx for your input. Both are very capable and nice rides.

In regards to building up, I agree, light is preferred and better. Looking at the Expedition Overland series on youtube, they have made the mindset from heavy build, to now focusing on being as light as possible for long distance travel.

That said, I don't have a built out or armored LX, but I have been into high the payload weights (~1800 lbs) towing a high tongue weight trailer (1000lbs) with full 6 passenger on board and gear for long road trips. AHC handled it just fine and didn't feel squishy or soft. I attribute it to AHC implementing additional spring rates, and firming up damping, which are engaged as the system deems it necessary.
