Evening everyone. Just picked up a used A440 locally. I didn’t get a pic of it, but it seemed the sheath for the kickdown cable is cracked right at the base, where it goes into the case. Anyone know of you can buy just the sheath? Rather not have to get into the valve body to do the whole cable.
Also, and this is the part I’m excited about, this output shaft looks like it is new! Hardly any wear. Aren’t these weak points, or is it only on the 62 A440’s? Here’s some pics of the front and rear. Looks pretty clean to me, wonder if it’s been rebuilt. The donor had 200,000 miles and a seized 3FE.
