What's going on guys? The name's Jake. I think I've introduced myself before but haven't been active on the board. (my post count probably makes that very obvious) So, I figured I'd do it again. Except this time with it's with a much cooler truck. I picked up this little gem for $1500.

I'm in Austin, TX. Haven't the time or money to do any wheeling but I turn wrenches for a living and love working on these trucks so if anyone needs a hand or whatever I'm down.

lucky!
i hate you. 1500? i cant even find one of those that runs here in sc!!

nice truck. any plans for it?

ps welcome to mud..........again.

Thanks. It actually didn't run when I bought it but I still got a major hook-up on it. I picked it up from my team leader at work. His son was driving it and the head gasket popped. He didn't feel like fixing it in the hell that was Texas this summer. So a couple hundred dollars and about 8 hrs of work I had me a good running first gen. It helps that I work for Toyota as well.

Right now it's going to stay stock with the exception of some 4.88's and either a lunchbox locker or spool but once work picks back up I'm gonna start collecting parts. Probably just gonna do the standard RUF & F150's and some 35's or 36's.

She's a beauty. I'm in the Round Rock area with a fj62 I'm converting over to diesel when I get back. Good to know someone in Austin and works for Toyota. Congrats on the find.
