sweet

yeah that is sweet, saw you teh other day down by meeting and east bay at the mexican restaurant. are you at the Citadel or an alum?

Cant believe no one else has mentioned the color, or maybe my eyes are just going bad??

What color is it, looks like a gunmetal color to me, can you post some better pics, maybe from the side so we can see it?

If you're looking for raw horsepower, and you don't care about fuel mileage (which already sux anyway), dual exhaust is always good for more muscle. Install splitfire plugs, HEI carbon steel plug wires, and advance the timing as far as the ECM will allow before bogging out. I seriously doubt that you will pass emmission standards in any state, but you will definately have more power. Good luck with that! :wrench::hillbilly:

There are no secondary ignition wires on the FJ, it's COP (coil on plug) and there's no distributor to advance the timing (unless you get a custom ECM chip).

... Install splitfire plugs, ...

I have always used, and loved, Splitfires on all my manual transmission vehicles but when I used them on my last automatic transmission vehicle, a 94 V6 Mustang, it screwed up the shift points and would shift back and forth between 2nd and 3rd when driving steady at around 35 mph so I haven't tried them on my FJC.

Has anyone used them on a Automatic FJC yet and if so does it shift OK?

thats FKN GANGSTER!!!

I would say your on the right track w/ AFE and Gibson.... I have also heard great things about both!

I saw that FJ for sale at a Chevy dealership a few months ago. Does it still have the machine gun barrel thing on the back?

never been a fan of fender flares (aside from some state laws requiring them) but those look pretty good on there...

it kind of seems like the look that Bhummer was going for with their newer models...

Air flow, get the TRD supercharger... I have AIRaid, unichip and custom flowmaster 60 series and its just alittle bump in power. 4.56 gears were a way bigger boost, and i think it's less that when i go from my 325-50-22's down to the 34 10.50 17's just about an inch shorter and 2+ skinnier. The muffler shop told me not to go dual on the exhaust because the computer n cat converters get confused and dump way too much fuel in to get the cats hot enough. 20 or so hp is less than 10% increase to get 80 or so throw on the trd blower + exhaust. I bet that taking off your roof rack, hood rack and an at type tire would get more umph than intake and exhaust but then it would look lame..

Badazz

Everything you have done looks great. For your power....start with a nice exhaust like borla...add headers and a K&N 77 CAI. that should give you an extra 15-20 HP. If you have money to burn......supercharge it for 4K.

Still no word on color or any better profile pics??
I ALMOST bought this rig two years back. I was made by a company called Nightmare Studios who made working life sized suits from Halo, Gears of War, Star Wars and stuff like that. I have a bunch of pictures of it somewhere and I'll try to dig it up. The original paint is Voodoo Blue but then custom painted a gunmetal gray. The underside was spotless, definitely never been off-road and didn't even look like much road grime. If anyone still cares I will post those pictures.

Running Magnaflow cat back from a Thorley y-pipe and an AFE intake. Very noticeable gain. I'm on a 3" toytec lift with 33" KM2's and I can punch it hard enough to get the front wheels light. I don't have quite as much metal in front as you do. Only a Demello and a winch. Without the winch/bumper, the fronts set off my traction control if I'm on it. I'm in a 6 spd though so full time 4 wheel.

Be careful of adding too much, call Gadget at URD and just follow his advice.
