I run Equal in my Toyo Open Country MT's with zero issue . These are probably the most uniformly made MT I've ran to date in 33x10.50x15 size , no wobble at all and the Equal holds excellent balance up to 75mph on the Interstates . They are rock throwers , but not as bad as other MT's I've used in the past , mostly the Interco LTB and TRXus radial . I will say the Toyo always ejects it's stones are very low speed vs the others , which is nice . Nothing like that shotgun sound after 45+mph . The ATII Open Country set on my Taco are horrible , balanced perfect at first and now they going out of round badly for some odd reason . We've tried weights on one pair to no avail and still use Equal in the rear , same issue as the front . Pretty disappointed as this set is a Japan built set instead of from one of their other plants , maybe just a fluke but the MT's are amazing . Both tires are outstanding in rain/snow/mud and general highway and excel well offroad . I thought about running a set of 255/85/15 bias tires with the same pattern as the Traxions but mine sees far too much highway use at high speeds .
I will say , those look great on a stock Cruiser for sure .

Dunlop grandtrek MT2 in a 7.50 r16. 6 ply radial that rides very well with flexy sidewalls. Very well suited to the weight of the truck and excellent in terms of grassy and muddy surfaces. Not good for floatation obviously but for my needs a great choice with the stock suspension.

Mine 7.50 r16's are tubeless- and yes this just happened a few days ago. I'll get some pics up. Initial thoughts- harder to balance apparently than the BFG AT's or maybe its the wheels but I doubt it. A little noise from them- but I like it. Off road- way better than the AT's in mud so far. Just as you might guess it seems the AT's are a much better highway tire. I'm at 23psi so I'll have to report back after pumping them up more but at this pressure they are slower in terms of getting up to 100kph(60mph.) In terms of fit the 7.50 r16 is the perfect fit for a stock suspension - fits within the body work and does not rub at all on the drag link like the 235/85's did. Steering effort is not bad even at this low pressure. Truck does want to wander just a bit if there is any hint of a rut or slope to the road which makes sense as teh FSM calls for another 2mm of toe in for bias ply. I'll adjust that tomorrow and get back to this thread.

i use equal...i am pleased with them...i run them in tubes...its kinda hard to get them in if you need to change a tube to a new tube...but...they do ballance

BTW great looking rig...love the retro look you gave it :)

You guys balance your tires???:hillbilly:

The Sta's got so bad that everytime I hit 30mph or so the steerimg wheel went nuts.....
