A/C Fitting Help Needed!!

So I finally got a vac pump, gauges and the like and am ready to vac down and recharge the a/c system on my '92 w/ R-12.
I go to hook the gauges up.

The low side hooks up fine.

The high pressure side has smaller threads on both the compressor and the in-line fitting!!! WTF?

Can anyone point out an adapter I need to hook my line or give me the thread size?

Is the low side 1/4" thread and the high side 3/16"?

I'm baffled as my landcruiser has 1/4 on both.

Yes, on the later R12 systems the high side is smaller, you need a high side service port adapter. At one time they were very common, most parts stores carried them.
