Hey there,

I am looking at tackling my a/c system. The guy at Integrity said there was a leak in the evaporator (wasn't specific as it hasn't been pulled out I assume). If I do this, when I get everything back together (and hopefully sealed up tight), where should I carry it go get the system recharged. I don't have the stuff to ... evacuate it after I put it back together. And any hints are welcome - found a good thread on removing the evaporator and whatnot.

49 Tire in Richland. Ask for Chris .

We can certainly evac and recharge the system. I would recommend replacing the receiver dryer as well when doing the ac work.

Thanks Chris. I'll call you when I get around to it. I guess I'll pull it out and see what's to be seen. I'm a complete rookie, but it sounds fun ... if I have enough beverages on hand.

45 minutes. Not too bad. Getting it out, not the evaporator itself. What all should I do while I have it out, other than the dryer thing? I'll get a light to see where the dye is coming out tomorrow.
