A/C Compressor mounting bracket ?s

I have an A/C Compressor from a 3 litre V6 that I want to mount on my 22re for OBA. Can anyone tell me if they are the same compressor or same mounting bracket or if the holes are somewhat similar? I don't have a bracket for either, but the wrecker here has a bracket for a V6 so maybe I can make it work. Gonna head out there and compare it to the 22re blocks he has to see how close it might be, but figured someone might have already done the legwork

Yup, you're right, not even close, well I assume anyway. The wreckers only had a V6 one and I compared it to the possible mounts on a 22re. No way you could make that work. So now, is the compressor that I have from a V6 useless to me, or is it the same compressor with a different bracket? How hard is it to find a bracket? The guy at the wrecker said 22r/re's with A/C were very rare in our parts, so probably gonna have to order one from a warmer place maybe. Anyone got a 22re A/C compressor bracket they wanna sell? Look for ad appearing in classifieds soon.
