i've read what i can find on here but i'm still not sure i have a full parts list.
i see 13 switches (which i am just replacing because i think the plastic may be darker than i would like).
and then i see the following bulbs?:
3 OEM bulbs (that i assume are incandescent)?
3 type B bulbs (also incandescent?is there an OEM alternative?).
12 LED (is there an incandescent or OEM alternative?).
3 LED (is there an incandescent or OEM alternative?)
is this the full parts list?
is there minor soldering involved?
i have an LX 450 but not sure if it matters.
ALSO, i have an asterix note that says "these are part numbers" DNW1-DW33/GRA but i am not sure what that means?

There are just three Illumination bulbs in the hvac.
The 3 OEM bulbs that illuminate the switches when dash lights are on are 84999-70015.
An alternative to these three bulbs are a type B bulb aka t4 neowedge.
DNW1-DW33/GRA is a part number for aftermarket type b and t4 neowedge.

All the references above are for these three bulbs in the back of the controls. All the same thing. You just need three of whichever bulb type you go with.

The 14 other bulbs you listed are the 3mm soldered bulbs. They are ON indicators for each switch and will probably appear brighter after you replace the switch faces. I recommend not messing with them.

i see. THANK YOU. so on the bulbs it is 3 OEM part numbers for incandescent "plug and play" bulbs (or use the alternate non-OEM numbers as shown).
and the other 14 (or 15 if it is 12 + 3) there is some reason not to replace those? it's that they are hard wired into the unit so you need to desolder and resolder?
do you know by any chance please if the OEM are incandescent for thaw or if they are LED and same question please for the replacements i listed?

Yes.
And to answer the question below These three bulbs are incandescent from the factory.

Yes. They are soldered in place and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one go bad since they’re led. Work not worth the reward to replace.

I think these are incandescent —DNW1-DW33/GRA

thanks for all that.
super helpful...
APPRECIATE IT.

You’re welcome. You don’t have to take off the back cover to access the three bulbs. Just remove the square tape. You can see the bulbs trough the tape in this picture.
