This will sound a little strange....

Earlier today a guy approached me while I was stopped at an intersection and asked what year my LX was.

He said that he has a 95 that was in mint condition but was recently in a rollover and is totaled.

He said if I want any parts off it I can have it, as the vehicle is now just sitting in his lawn.

If there are items you want me to check out and get a price for you, let me know. Maybe I will just buy the whole truck as a spare???

I got his phone number.....I didn't get into details wether it was fully locked, etc...

But thinking about giving him a ring.

Any parts I should get regardless if I need them or not??

Alternator, starter, those types of things??

Thanks

Wow, slow down fellas.

I am not a veteran when it comes to this and will need some help.

If it runs but has a crushed in roof, but engine bay etc look to be in good shape... what is a fair offer?

He said I could "take it" but I don't think he means for free.

Interested in 1st and 2nd row seatbelts in grey, let me know if you pick up the wreck to part out, thanks.

I will give the guy a ring tomorrow...just don't know where I would put it....my garage is full and storage unit full as well.

Depending what he wants for it, I may "have" to find a place for it.

I will let you all know, if I do get it, your posts in this thread will "hold" your parts on a first-post, first-serve basis.

(I will obviously need to come up with prices, but will give first shot in order of posts, as long as I don't need the part for myself).

Shoot....I threw my factory bumper in the dumpster about a month ago doh!

I bet you throw away all your extra $100 bills too, don't you. ;) As far as a fair price, I wouldn't give more than $500 for one that I couldn't rebuild and sell. You would have no problem making your money back on $500, and probably make a lot of friends while your at it.

Lol....no I listed my running boards for free...nobody wanted them so I thought nobody would want the bumper....just threw them both away.

Update to all I called the guy and he is out of town in business and wife will have him call me when he returns.
