wow.
according to your above pictures, the first thing you should do is drain your front and rear differentials and replace the gear oil in them, as they are probably full of water now, unless the vent tubes were extended by the previous owner. which i doubt.

then, if it were me, I would go through the truck front to back and start checking things out like fluid levels, fluid conditions, belts, hoses, welds (especially since its a sas) etc...
cause you never know, the previous owner may have been a tweaker or something.
from there, you need to figure out what you want to do with this truck (wheel it, daily drive it, etc) and build it accordingly.

check out the FAQ section. lots of good info.

It actually dose have a extended vent toobes and after being in the lake I changed all the fluids anyways and I am wanting more a a cheap street legal trail rig I want a flatbed built i just haven't seen to many would like to see befor built

Clean looking truck but I bet your u-joints f***ing hate you. You really only need about 3-4" of lift to run 35's and besides they look much better when they're actually in the wheel wells. Nice 18's though... :hillbilly:

Every one says the ujoint will go out but I haven't had a prob yet cross my fingers lol but ya I want to lower it like two inches but idk how I bought it how it is now

Impressive run-on:D

I figured the run-on sentences came with the truck :flipoff2: j/k

You might be able to lower that thing a little by pulling leaves although it looks as if those springs packs just have a ridiculous arch and not many leaves to the pack. If that's the case you'd probably be better off going with something like All Pro, TG, or Davez offers if you want minimal height and good travel. Or, even a home brew RUF pack. RUF is the route I'm headed

You know have no clue what who meant?

As far as improving the ride check out these sites.

Davez and All Pro are held in pretty high regard. TG's rep is totally dependent on who you're talking to. If you want a spring that out the box will do well then those are some options.

If you like to tinker and set things up the way you want them then do a search on Rears Up Front. Google will help immensely and may keep your ass from being sore

The 63's come off over 88-98 1/2 ton trucks IIRC. The problem with using the leaves from the blazer is they're probably around 3" wide where Toyota springs are only about 2.5"

gottcha, I forgot about the years.

honestly if your gonna change springs , I would go with the 4 wheel drive chevy spring pack as listed above but the spring hangers will have to be relaocated a bit, but its well worth it

Good Lord!
Please tell me you don't plan on using those hillbilly 6x3 steel spacers between the flatbed and frame!

Otherwise, that's a nice flatbed, though spending the coin on a CV rear axle for the driveline angles would have been somewhat wiser.
