well back at it again.

Currently it sits on all fours, but there is just one little problem.

The front is about 5 inches taller than the rear. I have no expernce with leaf springs, but something tells me they are not going to settle that much.

All in all while finishing up the nic nacs the trail gear kit has been a dissappointment.

Brake lines have been hard to make work espically.

anyone got any ideas on how to fix my lift, other than removing a few leafs from the springs?

wheres the pics?? its looking great dude. keep up the good work. Im gathering the materials to a solid axle swap on my 91 4runner and am stoked. learning alot from your thread. If the rear coils dont work out, i am going to try to do leafs in the front and the rear so they are equal and it will probably end up being less work than the coils. but if u do keep the coils, i suggest and stock fj80 coil swap. they will give u about 3 inches of lift but u will have to do some modifying.

someone who did it wrong lol but it may work out for u since have a lift in the front.

good luck dude!!

do not try to use the stock rear suspension.

The control arms are to short, the geometry dosent work out at all.

go leafs all around right from the beginning.

There is no way I could even the rear out with the front.

One tip,
Remove the engine and frame. this would have been impossible for me to do with the engine in, and to make it easier to weld everything just take the frame out. espically when working on the rear. I'm sure many will say this is unnecessary, but it will make it turn out alot better.

cheers
