okay go easy on me not my vehicle problem is engine wants to stall when coming to a stop....it will start and run any thoughts shooting from the hip is fine with me....
What shape are the vacuum hoses in? There's a lot of them to check.
Anytime I have had idle stall issues it has been:
1: Vacuum leaks in emissions.
2: Leaks between the volume air flow meter and the throttle body.
3: Water in ignition module connector, rare but it gets mine.
Also when checking vacuum hoses there's an AC idle up VSV (if u have AC, next to emissions VSV's) and a power steering idle up valve on the bottom of the pump. They're in the FSM but referenced in AC & PS sections.
Just more hoses to check , got a few paint pens for the weekend? It really sucks to mix them up when troubleshooting the current problem.
Brake booster vacuum leak. you can check for a vacuum leak by using a propane torch. turn on the gas and move it around all the vacuum hoses without lighting it while the truck is running. it will idle up if it sucks in any propane. Obviousely don't put it by the air intake
