93 4x4 - steering box how many BB's?

I've searched but, couldn't find the answer to this question:

How many BB's are suppose to be in the worm gear drive assembly for steering box off of 93 4x4? I counted 44, can anyone confirm.

it has been a long time.

43 or 44 is what i got. if you got 44, im positive thats the right amount.

when putting it back together, be careful with the nylon seal that goes on the piston. when installing it, its likley the gaer box will shave it off. you have to be very slow and careful. use lots of lube. i used silicon. dont rush anything

It's already put together and luckily I didn't damage the nylon seal. I was careful and took my time. As others have stated to do. Everything came togther smoothly. I was just second guessing myself with the BB's. Taking it all apart again wouldn't have been an issue.

i have asked this guy some really tough questions before, and has always had the answer.
