91 pickup over charging

I have 91 pick up and it has always over charged batteries. It seems to boil the fluid out of the battery. Does the alternator just have a bad voltage regulator or could something else been going on?

Either the voltage regulator is fried, or the feedback circuit isn't working (unlikely). You can have the alternator tested for free at many places.

i had a couple vaderzone alternators do that. but the dash lights acted the same as when your alternator fails
