You will have to find a sub for the denso transistor, and possibly for those fujitsu tophat diodes, everything else is still available. This is a pretty simple switching circuit.
Looking at the drawings, it appears the Fujitsu tophat diodes you are referring to are EQC01-170? I cannot find anything using those part numbers. I have not yet determined a need for them, but was wondering if you had any ideas on what else could be subbed in.

Thank You!

By P=V^2/R,
the 24 ohm resistor should be a 6 watt?
the 100 ohm a 2 watt (*1.44)
the 12 ohm a 12 watt
the 33 ohm a 5 watt (4.364)
or am I guessing up the wrong tree?

a 12 ohm 12 watt resistor is about 2" long and at least a 1/2" around, so proably not a 12 watter...

I will open up my ignitor and see if I can measure voltage across these resistors, so we can get a better idea of the power rating required.

I have some older data books, I'll take a look this weekend. They are just flyback diodes to protect that switching transistor so a 1N4007 might work fine there.

Thanks! I think I have some of those.

Do you have any thoughts on the power ratings of the resistors? I used
P=V^2/R, and some of those resistors need to be big based on that equation. Only guessing the voltage is 12 volts. I imagine the voltage between the collector of the pnp and the base of the npn might not be 12???

Admittedly, I am not an electronics expert, but I am an electrician/maker… I’d like to think I get it, but likely I only get that there is an it to get…
