Took a quick look at it tonight. It looks like the front end crunch was actually a side swipe down the right side but not terrible. Looks a little rusty underneath like maybe it came from back east. The rust around the rear wheels was bondo'd and painted a few years ago and it's starting to flake off. Rear lift gate wouldn't latch, which isn't a big deal.

Considering what you could drive it off the lot for, it would be good rig.

I agree,
seems as though the guy would take near 900...

you look in his yard in the back...saw a mustard Fj40...I think it is a impound/repo lot.

The guy does "auto pawn" and took in a bunch of Cruisers in from one customer - not sure if this was one of them. He's sold a few already.

Have you driven it? How does it run? Where is Greystone? How is the reliability/crawlability of the auto in the 62 compared with the manual in a 60? And the fuel injection, is it a pain when parts wear out or is it like TBI and almost never wears out?

Wish it was closer to me. I would buy it in a heartbeat. It is the color combination I want, need, desire, lust, what else? lol

It's a bus transmission, lasts forever, crawls like a 60 with a doubler - seriously the 3FE and A440F combination is an amazing combination off road for smooth application of torque.

The EFI system is easy to deal with. The parts that wear out are the fuel pressure regulator ($93 and 15 minute install) and sometimes the fuel pressure pulsation dampener (cheap, kind of a PITA to replace) or the fuel pump check valve will fail if the FPR fails and breaks them with high pressure. Get the injectors cleaned and balanced and replace the FPR every 150K miles or so and you're set.

THis truck is still available as of yesterday anyhow,
It runds good, little rough...needs minor tune and could be a great trail truck or whatever.....GULP 3000 gave it a check as well, read his report.

When something is listed real cheap like this, immediatly something is wrong....

$1200 for a running land cruiser FJ60...get in and wheel it, wouldn't even look that bad in the driveway.

I was onto a FJ40....I will try to drive it today for anyone interested.
