Could someone tell me where the eletric window relay or module is located on a sr5 1988 4 runner? It is the one that controls the front windows. Thank you for your information .Georgeharry

There is a Factory Service Manual linked in the FAQ thread for an 85 pickup/4Runner that is invaluable, it will mostly be the same for your 88. As for the relay, my 89 FSM shows it up under the drivers side dash, roughly centered between your feet, and mounted in a sideways position. The relays look to be in a box that's about 4x4x1 inch-ish.....

exactly 2NDGen Thats the reason that I came to this site.Some other sites get the ?? but never follow up with the outcome.I intend to report back with any information that I glean to help others out.Some times I have to wait days to be able to work on my truck so I might be slow but I will be back with what I find out.No problem!
