Figured I'd start a thread about my old 4runner. I picked it up a few weekends ago and I'm starting my quest to lightly/tastefully modify it. The goal with this rig Is to have a clean reliable weekend warrior that I can use to keep the miles down on the daily driver. The trails I plan to run will be simple trails/ to keep wrenching and damage at minimum.
Added some cut tj springs to help level out the stance today.
Decided to go out and pick up some 31's today as well. These Tires are the good year authority model, a aggressive looking all terrain. have read some good reviews and the price was agreeable at 154 a tire.

Here is a before shot.

Hope to add some pictures soon of the rock sliders
I have in the garage soon. A friend will be helping weld them on soon enough/
I purchased a Spartan locker and it's staring me down- should be in tommorow as well. Will keep the thread updated

Thank you, I'm very happy with it myself.
The front/rear bumpers are coming off tomorrow as well. Will have the low rang stinger bumper and rear to match as the final purchase on it for a good while. Hope to get them by the summer and then just enjoy it

I like those meats, after we get that locker installed tomorrow we definitely hitting the trails!

My brother was in the market for some tires for his Cherokee, I talked him into this tire as well. Great price, and that tread is about the perfect compromise between mud terrain and all terrain. He seems to be happy with them.

That is a very good looking rig, If you need help putting a dent in it, let me know.

BTW: I have a good friend parting out almost the exact same rig if you need anything. The body is trashed, but the interior is tip top, including the seats.
