hilux............lets get something done about this unless I am missing something?

I'm pretty sure they'll just come and get it.

There are, or it's gonna be almost impossible to find, NO ID marks indicating the true identity of this truck.

A search of every stolen Turbo 4Runner will have to be preformed.

hilux if you get into a wreak in this thing(if you did buy it and I think you did)
Insurance will start asking a lot of questions,police at your door etc etc.

The only way one can tell the VIN's been boogered is by being a Toyota guy and knowing about the 85 SA, and 86 IFS.

THERE ARE NO ID's TO THE ORIGINAL TRUCK.

Metro will prolly just come get it, I'll lose it and the owner will more than likely NEVER be found.

i would pull a carfax on it, then if you have any police buddies contact them personally before you contact the police department, there is the possibility that it was wrecked and totaled so some one just swapped bodies and used the bodies vin to create a good title. i would not start to freak out yet! how long have you had it. i do not know how chop shops work out west but on the east coast they do not build vehicles the dismantle and sell the parts. also i have used the frame from one motorcycle to repair a totaled bike so i could get tags for it.

The carfax will only come back to the title i have now?

UNLESS I find a VIN # on the Turdblow.


I thought there was one on the top of the frame rail, rear P side of the frame?

Does anyone know where anther # is?

i am not sure hey you might try taking a piece of paper putting it where they grided the vin off and rub it lightly with a crayon. mean while i will look in my fsm and see if it says any thing about the vin on the frame.
