cloged inkectors pullem out send them to www.mrinjector.com
cheapest guy around he will sonicly clean them and put them back to factory specs. had same issue

As I mentioned in a previous post noid lights will not work on these type of injectors. I would suspect a faulty ignitor, it is mounted to the top of the coil, if the ignitor is not connected or it is faulty the ECU will not command the injectors to fire.

The 22RE ECU receives an RPM signal from the ignitor, which the ECU interprets as engine rotation after which it provides a ground signal to the injectors which will cause them to pulse thus releasing atomized fuel into the intake ports.

The 22RE fuel pump is kept on after engine start by movement of air past the airflow meter. With the ignition turned on you should be able to reach into the airflow meter and move the gate, this will cause the fuel pump to turn on.

I still say injectors are cloged up. If flash said doesnt give you a injector pulse. Pullem sendem to www.mrinjector.com geting redone. Probly wouldnt hurt u to do it anyway.

It's highly unlikely that ALL the injectors suddenly clogged solid so much that the truck won't start.

If the injectors are not firing, I would start pulling apart the engine harness, look for the splices in the injector wires that are notorious for failing, and since the grounds to the injectors are all spliced together at one spot, that could be your culprit. Search here and other forums, this is a common issue. When I pulled my harness apart last year as PM, I was shocked at how corroded the splices and wires were, I was surprised the truck ran at all. Pretty sure I posted pictures, with info of the exact locations of the splices.

+1 for this advise. TRUST us, injectors typically don't get clogged to the point of failure, and if they are then suspect a severely rusted sand filled gas tank.

my 4 runner sat six years. when my buddy fired it back up after first couple times he drove it . The injectors cloged. I bought the truck. The fuel filter itself. was falling apart im guessing from sitting dry? no fuel being pumped at all for probly 4 or 5 years. without even starting it. When i pulled the inectors they were filled with white particles of the filter element its self. just saying.
