Anyone have a picture of the proper jack and tool kit that came with an '85 4x4? I see a couple different ones out there that both say "85".
Thanks!

Thanks Mltchell17. I have a hi lift, but my truck is almost compleatly stock, and that empty jack/tool kit holder in the Xtra Cab has my OCD alarms going off.
What are we talking about DTCsk8er? Scissor jack? Bottle jack? Tool kit? Do you have any pics? Price?
Thanks for all the replies.

My stock jack broke internally about 100 kms north of pavement. It was entertaining to drive up on pieces of firewood, and then dig under the flat tire. I now carry 2 little hydraulic jacks. This is what the tool kit looks like in the pickup:

L to R: 2-piece lug nut wrench, "spoon" for removing center caps, installer for center caps, crank handle for jack & spare winch, extension rod, then the long crank rod with the hook in the end for the jack and the winch. I'm not 100% sure the extension is included with the pickups, I think it's only in the 4Runners, as the other rod is shorter so it can fit inside the cubby on the pass side. That rod is 31" long.
Ready to go:

Jack is a bottle-type, purely mechanical, not hydraulic.

I also carry a Hi-Lift but given the choice and if I was on firm pavement, I would prefer the stock bottle jack under the axle every time. Hi-Lifts are really dangerous and I only use them as a last resort.
