Have an 84 22r extra cab pickup. My heater worked at first. Then I took it crawling and get home and the heater doesn't engage what so ever any suggestions

Blower or just no heat?
If no blower, could be a bad controller or bad motor.
If you have air but it's cold, it may be the valve on the top driver's side of the firewall that has hoses attached. It may be locked up or the link may be broken.

or if it is blowing cold air and you did some steep hills you might have burbed the system, and it is low on antifreeze, but you should have seen signs of over heating.

No blowing or air at all.

I've also tried all settings. Where is the blower resistor
all you will see is a plug going through the fire wall right near your blower motor, it has one Philips head screw in it.

It's easier if you take the glove box out. But if the fan doesn't work at all, it's probably something else. I have a spare fan motor if you need one, but it might also be the switch. Check the fuses too.
yea mine worked on slow speed when my resistor went bad, but it still had one good coil on it, i can see where bouncing it around could have broken or shorted them out, and the fan might not work then, but i would also be looking for loose connections at this point.
I have the same truck, and after wheeling in the snow, mine took a crap too. Mine was the fuse, so I would check that first.
