hey... so i just got a pickup... an 82 4wd... decided i'm gonna make a wheeler... the frame from the cab back is shot... anyone know where i can get a frame that'll fit? I'm thinkin if i get a frame thats not able to be sucked away in a vaccuum i might put 4 link in the rear, put a decent little flat bed on it... probably a roll cage..

I moved out here from saskatchewan 2 years ago so i'm not super familiar with everything but I'm tryin to get into wheeling. Any help would be muchly appreciated.

the frame is pretty much shot....you can reach under the bottom of the frame and if u squeeze you can feel the inner channel move. its in pretty rough shape, im liking the idea of a tube frame for the back half with a 4 linked rear nd some 35's or something

oh yea...im the one who sold it to him...its still in my yard so i have a pretty good idea of what the frame is like...could probably even take some pics if you want rabbit. my only options were to sell it as a whole or to part it out nd it just seemed like a damnd shame to part out a truck like that....i hadnt really seen much of the first gen trucks but i like the body style alot more than any of the others, so im glad it went to somebody who is going to build it and use it...not just part it out

im pretty stoked to see what we can come up with between the 3 of us...(me, him and one of his buddies) then ill have somebody to wheel with other than my old man!...even if he is alright with body damage...he works to friggen much!

well.. now its sittin in my yard... with the box ripped off.... its slow goin...dont get much time on it between work, and reno's on the house..
