1982 Toyota BJ42/44. It is essentially a bj42 on a bj44 frame. Just a little bit longer frame than the standard bj42. The guy that built this in Japan did this so he could attach a winch to the rear of the vehicle. (pretty smart if you ask me, most of the time I had rather winch backwards than forwards.) It is powered by the 3B Diesel engine that runs great. It is a 4 speed transmission. This is not a fast truck but it will go anywhere. Leafed over suspension, brand new HD Zeal BJ-44 leaf springs. 4.11 gears, HD high steer components, 38.5x14.5x15 TSL-SX Swampers (5) on dick cepek rims. extended travel Bilsteins in the front, Ranchos in the rear, Fabbed front and rear bumpers. BJ-62 Power Steering. Batteries moved to the passenger (left) side of engine compartment. this beast stills gets 30+ miles to the gallon. :bounce:

Couple of other things, I do have a 3/4 aluminum tub from aqualu and matching front aluminum fenders that I can sell with this truck for an additional fee. No they aren't for sale without the truck. :) I do have an extra hardtop in the shop that I will let go with it.
 
I am in no hurry to sell this and i WOULD PREFER A TRADE. I know where i drive my cruisers and i will NEVER utilize this beast to its full potential. Im sure someone else would. It is ashame when people dont use their cruiser to their full potential. Im just offering it to someone that can "love" it more than i can. Im driving it for its fuel mileage. ;)
 
I have received some pretty sweet offers from you guys on some really nice fj40's. That being said, I am considering a couple of them. So at this point if you have a really nice 40 you would like for me to consider trading, gas or diesel, send me details. thanks.
 
One last thing: I am driving to MT come June 5th and I have to buy a vehicle to get me up there and back that is reliable soooooo.................. I will consider a newer vehicle to trade between now and then..... Otherwise I will probably just rent a car..... Just some food for thought.....
 
I am going to start changing this diesel out here in a week or two if no interest. I don't need a rig that sets up this high. I am going to put the springs back under the truck, sell the wheels and tires, go down to 33 or 35s max....... ANY LAST TRADE CONSIDERATIONS? Will consider trade and cash.......... :)

The truck is in ky. What do you have to trade? If not done something by sunday, its going on ebay. I just bought a left hand drive diesel so this is no longer needed. Make offer!
