Tried resetting the CEl on my 96 80 series by undoing battery.
After reattaching the positive terminal I hear clicking sound in dash and cruiser won't start. Has power to dash but won't turn over at all.

Is this some type of security issue? If so how do I reset this part. I pule dEFI and nothing had changed.
Thanks

Check the fusible links (search for pics, there is a fusible link 3 wire harness for lack of better description that comes right off the pos end of the battery)

thanks will check that.

Well did some looking at no luck,

Check the battery terminals another time for proper connection/corrosion?

Is the EFI relay properly seated into the socket? Correct socket?

Whack the starter with a hammer...could actually be the plunger going kaput.

Turns out that after market alarm system which isn't noticeable at all disabled the car after I unhooked battery. Removed fuse and she started right back up like a charm.
Thanks for those that helped
