Hey guys

So, i did a 700km round trip the other day. Got home and noticed a day later that the whole rear left rim had droplets of "oily residue" all over it, smelled like diff oil im pretty sure but they all reek to me so maybe its brake fluid, i however cant see any leaks around the brakes and only a few droplets on the inside of the rim. Wheel hub assembly has a slight leak, it just seems very minor for the amount that was on the rim. Could that small a leak cover the whole outer rim in droplets? I also dont have the cash for repairs atm so am wondering, if its started to leak worse, can i still safely drive it for 2 or so weeks to get to work while i wait for money to repair it?

Thanks guys

If you have Toyota factory lockers, remember to lock the rear before pulling the axle shafts. This step is not mentioned in the FSM in the section for replacing the axle seal.
Other than that, it's a quick replacement.
