Hi all, I’ve got a 94 Land Cruiser with dual tank option total 145L of fuel. So spare tire is also on the back of the barn door. Has anyone been able to make a water tank under the body? I was thinking behind the aux tank but not sure that would fit enough water. Also I might have found another spot under the driver exactly. Water bladders, footwell tanks don’t really do it for me in terms of functionality and practically. Jerry cans work great but I need the space and the extra water to be out of the way. Has anyone done something like this before?

I know @bryce0225 modified a tank to put under his truck. I'm not sure there's an existing product out there you can purchase without making your own but I would be glad to be wrong!

There has been some discussion of water bladders in the rear quarter fenders or inside the doors.

I don't know if anyone actually did it.

Yes they are called Flexitanks and out of Australia typically. I am not sure if they are still in production or not but I have one. Great use of space and very effective and simple water storage hidden behind the rear cargo panel.
