Delta Vehicle Systems @Delta VS will begin producing these again soon. I know your post is just over a year old, but they’re working on it.

Is there any update on @Delta VS’s version of this? I’m considering whether to wait or try making a version myself.

Make sense that it's a small market. It's an excellent product for people who daily drive and wheel a near-stock 80 series. Most people who wheel 80's are going 35's or bigger and the tire doesn't fit well under the vehicle and most people who use their 80 for grocery getting and want easy access to the cargo area (no swing out carrier in the way) don't go wheeling and aren't looking for ways to maximize ground clearance.

I still love my tire relocation kit.

I had someone point me to you guys recently in regards to this, but my tire ended up fitting.
We will see how well it fits/gets in the way when we hit moab this fall though. So far on trails it hasn't hit but I also haven't done anything to gnarley.

After that trip I'm likely either going to need a swingout or some type of relocation. And due to lack of space inside I'd prefer not to relocate it inside. I like the idea of having storage for other things on the outside as well, like my jack.

This is a great analysis. I think I fall in this group! No plans to do a swing out anytime soon.
