Here's a bad update, I was at Chris shop going over the prices and things. There was a misunderstanding regarding the skid plate, he's claiming that $250 is the price for raw skid plates no powder coating, I insisted that when we discussed the skid plate pricing it included powder coating. After a few minutes of talking, I refused to accept $250 for raw skid plates as I already told everyone it will be powder coated. After talking for awhile, he offered to sand blast and paint the skid plates with automotive paint.
- Is everyone ok with this automotive paint? My plan was to get them raw and do the finish myself anyways, it's fine with me. The upside to using paint is when it gets scratched up, you can smooth it out and repaint over it. With powder coating, you will have to get the whole thing powder coated again and that will cost more money than paint. If you feel that it's not worth it and want out, please state your intentions clearly.
- Sliders are still $425 powder coated, $375 raw.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
