80 Series shallow signals? (1 Viewer)

Recently installed the PDI front mount on my hdj81 and even though I cut a larger hole than the instructions called for to make sure I had room, my lower turn signal lights don't sit all the way in. Curious if anyone knows of a shallow mount set or what they did to remedy this issue. They still work fine, just catch water and allow it to pool on top of them now which is annoying

you really don't need them if you have lights in your bumper but I think a lot of people just trim the signal lights

Yep, that'll happen if you put the hole slightly in the wrong place causing the pipework to sit too close to lights. I had similar issues on one side of mine when I installed the PDI kit but managed to re- adjust to clear

They were really bad the first time I put everything back together but I was able to get it fit better. I'll see if a can trim them down, I was looking at getting replacements anyway so was curious what others did and if I goober em up it's not the end of the world
