80 series PCV hoses hard as plastic what sizes and is non-OEM hose fine?

Doing valve cover gasket on my ‘94 FZJ80. The PCV and breather hoses on top of the valve cover are rock hard and I don’t want to break them without replacements in hand. Are these roughly 5/16” (PCV) and 3/8” (breather)? I’m in remote Alaska and won’t be able to get anything from the dealer in weeks. But can raid a little shops hoses.





Also — any issue running bulk PCV/emissions hose instead of OEM molded lines?

Cannot recall the diameter off the top of my head but also ensure you plan for replacing the gasket into the valve cover for the PCV. If your hoses are bad that will also need replacing.
