80 series key code location

Hi,

Is the key code for a 80 series landcruiser on the drivers or passenger side lock cylinder? (Australia)

On a us spec it’s on the passenger front door cylinder. You can also use your vin number and dealer can cut you keys for pretty cheep.

Thanks mate, im think in Australia then its probably the drivers side since your passenger side would be our drivers side. Yeah i tried that with my local toyota dealership and they said it wasn't recorded

I pulled my (passenger) lock cylinder and just took it to a locksmith. They were able to get the code and cut backup keys.

Should be on the right front door lock cylinder. If you're down under, that'd be the driver side.
