80-Series Insight - HELP! (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. Just totaled my 4th Gen T4R and have been looking at 80 Series Cruisers. A friend of mine who works on them a lot said pre '93 have weaker axles, brakes, and engine. Just wanted to pick your brains for any insight. I won't post them now, but I've got two that I'm looking at. Thanks!
