After the problems I ran into with the center diff lock slipping on Jake's 80 series after removing much the front shaft, I decided to order a center-diff lock switch.
The ones that are factory marked as diff lock switched are around $60 as they are non-USA parts.
Some genius on Mud figured out with a little mod (clipping out a plastic tab) that the hazard switch from various Toyota vehicles will work in its place.
I found one for $17 shipped on Mud.
It is literally plug and play. The harness is back in the back of this section taped up with a dummy end cap on it that sends the signal back to the harness keeping the diff unlocked unless you are in 4 Low.
Check it out on the upper left of this picture.
Also, see the bottom of the panel, I have factory fog lamp switches for my 2 sets of lights on the bumper.
Little things.

Jeff Old is fine fella. If anyone is looking, he will be honest about his truck. I saw it at Gilmer in January and it is a very nice truck. 144K is pretty low miles too.
What color is it......im rreeaaall partial to the green...i had 3 runners in the green and love it or black or grey.....i refuse to even window shop for white with all the ones in the club.

I would not make color choices on the Cruisers in the club as you are still on double-secret probation.

Yep, that's pretty interesting. However, at that price, I could build one of my own or HAVE someone build it (using a Small Block Chevy - since I'm not a purist), and I'd know how it was built/what all was used to build it.
One of these days.....................
