Nolen do you need it for your 80?

I have my stock one, but may need it I'd I can't get my DC dshaft to act right
Nolen, there's a guy here in our WALCS group who's parting out 3 80's. Let me know if you don't find one closer than Austin and I'll hook you up.

Never heard of that issue. Now I'm educated.
Check your email, you and Chris. Jason says he has front and rear 80 driveshafts.

I got it, looks like we got the hook-up. I am going to get Chris to get mine shipped to his place too. I have this tune-up kit, may as well get them both done at the same time.
Yep. Had to do that lock-up/pull the fuse procedure last year on Val's Moonglow 80 when I pulled the front driveshaft. Otherwise, the VC sends more/all of the power to the slipping diff.......thus the whole reason for having a center diff lock in the first place. Glad I had MUD then, because I certainly wouldn't have known that procedure..................

I was lucky enough to have a 91 and a 97 handy to wrench on to know the differences in the two rigs, and i gotta say, anyone who has a rig without the CDL button... this is the best reason to spend money on one... dropping either drive shaft and diagnosing vibe issues with the CDL locked.
Cool thing too... a red hazard button out of the earlier 80's works as a temporary CDL button in the later 80's...
