Bosch Antenna

I also broke my electric antenna mast. It apear that JDM cuisers get a different antenna that does not have a replaceable mast. The nylon strip that extends and retracts the antenna is crimped into the motor unit and none of the aftermarket people are able to supply anything that will fit. You ask them and they give you the blank stare. You know the one.

I purchased a Bosch powered antenna that I mounted in the center of the windscreen behind the rear viision mirror from the center amplifier unti two very thin wires are secured to the wind screen wide clear adhesive tape. The lead is concealed in the window trim rubber and the unit is powered by the aux output from my pioneer head unit. Great signal on AM and FM.
The supplied lead was long enough to reach my head unit with some cable to spare even from the top center of the windscreen
Best part is it only cost $NZ 50.00 abut $US30.00
