First off.....It's late, and I've actually been drinking. Just finished up with my exhaust on my 96.
Magnaflow 23120 y pipe with cat
Magnaflow 13646 muffler
Vibrant 1141 resonator.
All sourced from my MUD research. !

^^^Jeebus, see my other thread I just started a few minutes ago. Monday morning! I can't believe this thread is even legible, and I had absolutely no idea I even posted it Saturday morning. I sure as Hell hope I wasn't posting on any other sites too. Wow. I obviously don't get out much anymore. Camping in the fish house all weekend at a BMX race with my wife at home working. I'm officially an old bastard when my late night excitement is posting truck pics on an Internet forum.
 
I'll make a sound clip when I'm done searching my Internet history from the weekend to see if I posted anything I could go to jail for.

For now, check my other thread I just started. I made a list of parts. But yes, all the pipe was custom bent by my exhaust guy. Muffler, resonator, y pipe with cat all off the shelf.

I debated whether or not to go with a new resonator. Too much information overload while I was researching. Drone...not drone...whistle..no whistling..etc. I don't know if it was needed and I don't know what it would sound like without, but my guess is its probably fine without. Plus. It's just too damn shiny and polished to be on my truck. :)

It was actually 3:00 a.m. I was in Minnesota. :) And Saturday night was about 5:00 a.m. so I sure as Hell hope I didn't find my phone and start posting then or my chances at the presidency might be in jeopardy.
 
Did you have your exhaust guy build the bends and then install it all yourself? Exhaust is my next project.... Probably starting tomorrow.

He did everything as far as install goes. I just bought the muffler, resonator, y pipe w/cat, and the extra exhaust gaskets. Gave him the pics I stole from other MUD members, and then I picked it up the next day and quietly went camping. :)

Trust me...you'll want the resonator.
